Two days after the wedding the family got the horrible news that Grandpa Evan had passed, which had Tim and I working out some new arrangements for the honeymoon... come to find out our airline went bankrupt and we were without a flight. Tim amazing as always scrambled to find us flights on different airlines and with the help of our families yet again I was able to go and celebrate a wonderful man with my fam and meet Tim in LA and we were on our way!
Our awesome views from our balcony.
Our room
Kitchen, Tim and I had intentions on using this more... but hey we were on vacation who wants to cook?
This is where Tim and I spent most of our week in Mexico. Im sure you can see why. I miss the Margaritas, lounge chairs, and that infinity pool.
I thought it was interesting that people would carry buckets and baskets on their heads. The man in this picture went fishing in the ocean with a net while Im assuming his wife a daughter waited on the beach. the little girl in this pic dug a hole in the sand and proceeded to do her "buisness" right in front of Tim and I. Glad we were eating and got to witness this... Im even more glad we spent more time on the roof swimming pool than the beach :)
View of our hotel from the water. our room is the top left corner
We decided to snorkel at the islands. It was a pretty rough day to be out so we didnt get to see much. Tim also managed to lose his wedding ring. A piece of our marriage will always be in mexico :) At least the islands were considered sacred.
